The gelato arm of the family, at The Oxley on the Gold Coast Highway.
Every tub is churned here from scratch on equipment imported from Bologna, the home of gelato. Real pistachio, real fruit, no pre-mixes, nothing synthetic. The signature scoop is the Pisellino, pistachio cream and white chocolate, and the cabinet turns over with the seasons. Have it in a cup, a cone or a warm brioche bun, and say yes to the chocolate fountain. The same gelato finishes the affogato and the cannoli in all five Gemelli restaurants, which is the easiest quality check we know.

Gelato Gemelli is the family's gelateria, in The Oxley at 2/2217 Gold Coast Highway, Nobby Beach, a short walk from the sand and a few doors from Gemellini. It does one thing: gelato the Italian way. Real ingredients, bold flavours, nothing synthetic. Every batch is hand-crafted, 100% natural and made from scratch in the shop, which is also the gelato that finishes dinner across the Gemelli restaurants.
The counter is open from midday Monday to Friday and 11am on weekends, till 9pm most nights and 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
Gelato cakes are made the same way, with the same gelato. The Pistacchina, the Strawbella and the GG Rocher are ordered online through the shop and collected from Nobby Beach.
The gelato cart goes out to weddings, birthdays, corporate days and school events with an attendant and a line-up of flavours. Enquiries go through the shop's website.
